Attorney General Eric Holder appointed Charles Adkins-Blanch as vice chairman of the Board in January 2013. Mr. Adkins-Blanch received a bachelor of arts degree in 1984 from Grinnell College and a juris doctorate in 1990 from the National Law Center, George Washington University. He served as a BIA member from 2008 until his appointment as vice chairman.
