Mary Ann Liposcak '53

Mary Ann was born on Nov. 14, 1932, in Roselle, Ill., to George and Vera (Nagel) Wickstrom. She grew up in Roselle and graduated from Glenbard West High School in Glen Ellyn, Ill., in 1949. She was an excellent student, skipping a grade, starting college at 17, and graduating from Grinnell College in 1953. She met her husband, John Liposcak, while working as a Stewardess for United Airlines. They moved to Madison in 1958, and they celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary with family on Nov. 2, 2007.
