A Grinnell College alumna has taken the voices of female inmates from Mitchellville to Hollywood.
Noga Ashkenazi's first feature film, "The Grey Area," which was mostly filmed behind the walls of the Iowa Correctional Institution for Women, debuted at Arclight Cinemas' Documentary Film Festival in Los Angeles on Nov. 6.
