Burnell, from Grinnell, Iowa (Grinnell), became the first Pioneer woman since 2007 to win a Midwest Conference individual title during the 2012 campaign. A three-time All-MWC performer and All-Region runner, Burnell qualified for the 2012 NCAA D-III National Championships. She has the second-fastest 6-kilometer time in program history.Canady, from Iowa City, Iowa (West), claimed the MWC individual men's title in 2012 while leading the Pioneers to the team crown. He has earned All-MWC honors three times and been All-Region twice while advancing to the 2012 NCAA D-III National Championships.

Figge, from San Diego, Calif. (Patrick Henry), placed fourth in the 2012 MWC Championships. He is a three-time All-MWC runner and two-time All-Region honoree. Canady and Figge rank 15th and 18th, respectively, on the Pioneers' all-time 8-kilometer chart.
