Early on the morning of Nov. 20, few people knew much of anything about Jack Taylor. But that night, he was trending worldwide on Twitter. The next day, he was dead square in the middle of a national debate on whether his 138-point performance against Faith Baptist College — which set an all-time NCAA single-game scoring record — was utterly fantastic or utterly a farce.
"When I woke up the next morning, I was in a different world," said Taylor, a 5-foot-10, 170-pound guard from Black River Falls who is a sophomore on the Grinnell College basketball team.
