Alabi, a computer science/mathematics major from Garki, Abuja, Nigeria (Model Secondary School), ranks among the top 10 in the Midwest Conference in four categories – points per game (13.9), rebounds per game (7.9), offensive rebounds per game (2.6) and minutes played per game (34.3).
She is also among Grinnell's leaders in assists and rebounds with 1.7 and 1.4 a game, respectively. Her efforts have helped the Pioneers to an 8-6 league mark.
Alabi, a team captain, is the Pioneers' first Academic All-District selection since Hannah Wolf '08 accomplished the feat in the 2007-08 campaign.
