David Cook-Martin, assistant professor of sociology at Grinnell College, is available as a resource for stories on immigration.

Cook-Martin’s areas of expertise include international migration, citizenship, and political sociology. He is the principal researcher on a National Science Foundation collaborative research project, “Race, Immigration, and Citizenship in the Americas.” The project studies the links between political liberalism and racial exclusion policies in immigration and nationality laws of 22 countries, including the U.S.
