Online Bibliography for "Rethinking Global Cultures" Guest Speakers

In conjunction with the 2016/2017 Center for the Humanities' "Rethinking Global Cultures" events, the Grinnell College Libraries has compiled an online bibliography that provides direct access to the speakers' selected works. 

Featured speakers are: 

  • Chen Yi, Chinese-American composer and Distinguished Professor at the Conservatory of Music and Dance in the University of Missouri-Kansas City
  • Natalie Rothman, Associate Professor of History, Department of Historical and Cultural Studies, University of Toronto Scarborough
  • Webb Keane, George Herbert Mead Collegiate Professor of Anthropology, Department of Anthropology, Interdisciplinary Program in Anthropology and History, and the Center for Southeast Asian Studies
  • Sahar Amer, Professor and Chair of the Department of Arabic Language and Cultures at the University of Sydney
  • Kathleen Newman, Professor of Cinema and Spanish at the University of Iowa
  • Mimi Sheller, Professor of Sociology and founding Director of the Center for Mobilities Research and Policy at Drexel University
  • Khurram Hussain, Assistant Professor of Religious Studies, Lehigh University
