Raised in Conflict

Panel Discussion: 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 7 Rosenfield Center Room 209

Three international students will reflect on their personal experiences with conflict. They will explain the conflicts in their countries and discuss how conflict has affected them and their decisions. They will also share how their time at Grinnell has influenced how they view the conflicts now, and what it’s like being away from the conflict in their homelands.

The speakers will be:

  • Samah Shda ’14 (Iraq)
  • Jelena Kaplanovic ’16 (Serbia)
  • Jaclyn Mukinisha ’16 (Rwanda)
