This performance is sponsored by the Grinnell College Public Events Committee.

Do you have electoral fatigue? Do polling numbers and spin-doctors have you reeling? If so, The Second City has a perfect remedy. "Second City for President"is billed as a gut‐busting comedy revue that will dole out laughter at the expense of both sides of the aisle, as well as comedy that is decidedly apolitical, uncensored and unabashedly hilarious. "Second City for President"maintains that itruns on a strictly pro‐comedy platform.

The Second City celebrates over 50 years of cutting edge satiric revues and continues to deliver the leading voices in comedy. From Mike Myers to Steve Carell, Stephen Colbert to Tina Fey, The Second City imprint is felt across every entertainment medium. With scripted and improvisational elements, audiences always enjoy being part of the show and playing along with the next generation of comic legends.

Tickets are required for this free public performance and may be obtained at the Bucksbaum Center for the Arts box office, beginning Wed., Sept. 26, noon to 5 p.m. A limited number of tickets are also available beginning at noon, Sept. 26, at the Pioneer Bookshop in downtown Grinnell.
