Heartmath Live Well Grinnell and GRMC will be co-sponsoring Heartmath, a proven stress-reduction tool, for interested staff Wednesday, July 28 from approx 1-5pm. Interested in training for a 5K this summer? The Grinnell Happy Days 5K (3.1 miles) will be on August 28th. Live Well will be putting together a 8-week summer training plan for beginners who would like to train to complete the race successfully. Also, we will be arranging an informal training group once a week for people who want company for training. Fitness Center Orientations Live Well will be offering fitness center orientations again this summer. If you want to come and learn how to use the facility, please e-mail jacobsen[at]grinnell[dot]edu and we can set up a time. Better yet, bring a friend! Live Well will also be offering basic strength training sessions a few times over the lunch hour or after work so you can learn how to put together a program. We will loosely organize groups that may want to plan to strength train together a few times a week so you have company! Weight Watchers The Grinnell College Weight Watchers group is currently looking for summer members. Group meets Tuesdays at 4:45pm on campus. A new 17-week session began June 22.
