Flexible Benefit Plans
Grinnell College has adopted the Flexible Benefits Plan (also known as a Cafeteria Plan) for the exclusive benefit of all participating employees. Its purpose is to reward you for loyal service by enabling you to select certain employee benefits that will best fit your individual needs in a tax-effective manner. If you elect to use the benefits of the Flexible Benefits Plan, you may realize savings of income taxes and social security taxes.

The Plan is a written document which sets forth the provisions of this fringe benefit program. The document below presents a series of questions and answers which summarize and explain the provisions and benefits available under the program.
