Life Insurance

Basic Term Life and AD&D insurance is provided to the employee through The Hartford Financial Services Group, Inc.at no cost to the employee.
The basic term life is calculated at 1.5 times the employee's annual salary, rounded up to the nearest thousand, with a minimum benefit of $20,000 and a maximum benefit of $400,000. Insurance exceeding $50,000 is taxable.
Double indemnity for accidental death, 50% for loss of a scheduled member (hand, foot, eye), 100% for loss of two or more scheduled members.
To cover dependents an employee must elect to participate in the Supplemental Life Insurance Plan.
