Alumni Career Profiles
Purpose: Alumni share information about themselves in an online form that helps students and other alumni with their career decisions.
Process: Alumni can go directly to
https://itwebforms.grinnell.edu/apps/CDOforms/grinnellink/ to complete an Alumni Career Profile form. The Alumni Career Profile includes current and past information such as graduate schools attended, degrees received, cities lived in, titles of positions held, organizations worked for, hobbies/interests involved in, contact information, etc. After alumni return the online form, the CDO uses the information to assist Grinnell College students, alumni, staff and faculty. Alumni recognize they may be contacted for advice and assistance regarding any of the information on the form. Once contacted, alumni provide information based on their personal and professional experiences such as choosing and applying to graduate schools, offering career-specific advice, conducting practice interviews and providing constructive advice, reviewing a resume and/or cover letter, etc.
Cost: There is no cost for alumni to submit online career profiles.
