Alumni Career Network

Alumni are among the most valuable career resources available to students. Currently, over 20,000 living alumni are available to help students explore careers, cities, transitions and more! We strongly encourage students to take advantage of meeting with alumni.

How can I meet alumni?

GRINNELLINK is an on-campus program that matches alumni with students for information interviews, informal panels and career speakers.

Externships are city based programs where students live and work with alumni for a up to two weeks during an academic break.

Beyond Grinnell is a program specifically for international students to meet and live with alumni. Students are encouraged to explore new career and geographic areas within the United States.

Alumni Scholars Program is sponsored by specific academic departments to showcase the scholarly work of recent alumni and provide students with the opportunity to hear about the career paths of alumni.

Internships are available with alumni during the summer. Many alumni offfer paid internships that are advertised through the Paid Summer Internship Program in the CDO. Other alumni are availble to host unpaid summer internships that may be eligible for one of the College's summer intenrship grants.
