Yoga in the Faulconer Gallery
Grinnell, IA - Imagine yourself relaxing into a yoga pose, surrounded by an extraordinary exhibition of beautiful, handcrafted Turkish textiles in Grinnell College's Faulconer Gallery - a wonderful environment for practicing yoga. Beginners and experienced exercisers are all invited to this special opportunity, free and open to the public, at 7 p.m. on August 23, and at 4:15 p.m. on Sept. 6. Bring a mat or towel if you like!
Yoga instructor Jennifer Mavin engages participants in a warm and welcoming style of yoga accessible to all ages, abilities, and experience levels. She believes strongly in the power of yoga to transform individuals through breathing, strength, flexibility, mental focus, body awareness, and self acceptance.
The Faulconer Gallery is located in the Bucksbaum Center for the Arts, 1108 Park Street, on the Grinnell College campus. For more information, please contact Tilly Woodward at 269-4663 or e-mail .
