GRINNELL COLLEGE ORGANIST SETS RECITAL

GRINNELL, Iowa - Grinnell College organist Linda Bryant will play a recital on Thurs., Dec. 6, at 11 a.m. in Herrick Chapel on the Grinnell College campus.

Bryant, who recently earned recognition from the American Guild of Organists, will play a program of seasonal music by Dietrich Buxtehude, Francois Dandrieu, Oliver Messiaen, Charles Ore, and Kristina Langlois. The annual recital will also include selections by Des Moines composers Alice Jordan and Carl Staplin.

A graduate of Drake University and Valparaiso University, Bryant is an applied music associate at Grinnell and also teaches at Newton Christian School.

Herrick Chapel is located at the intersection of 7th Ave. and Park St. on the Grinnell College campus.
