The Chaplains' Office Break Program, led and organized by the Lilly Religious Life Intern, allows approximately 10 students deliberately to examine issues of social justice, vocation, and ethical commitment while working on a specific service-oriented project. The goal of the program is to empower the program's participants to reflect upon ways in which they may choose vocations or avocations that enhance the common good of society. Key elements of the program are structured dialogues and purposeful reflection upon the ethical and/or religious concerns elicited by the program. Participants will gain experience in interactive, socially responsive service; personal, ethical and/or religious reflection; and vocational discernment.
