Current Position
Bree currently serves as a volunteer with Servant Partners in Pomona, California.

"I work in a secular position teaching ESL (and have worked at other jobs), but I consider my vocation to be in inner-city church planting and development. I have held various positions of responsibility to this end, including leading worship and bible studies, and visioning for the development of work in the city. I have been involved with a non-profit Christian inner-city organization called Servant Partners for 4.5 years, since my graduation from Grinnell."

Career Path
"I have continued my education through lay seminars and training, and personally-directed development.

"My paid positions have varied from educational management to consulting to teaching, my vocational career in inner-city renewal has remained basically the same, changing only in location from South Central Los Angeles to Pomona, California."

Grinnell Experience
Bree majored in Religious Studies at Grinnell and notes "being part of the Inter-Varsity Christian Fellowship was an immense help for the type of work I am now involved in."

How She Can Help
"I would love to be able to correspond with any students who are interested in Christian inner-city work. I would possibly be open to students coming to see what non-profit inner city work looks like as part-time or full-time ministry." She notes that her organization, Servant Partners, occasionally has internship opportunities in Los Angeles.
