...to finish a classroom discussion.
...to debate the merits of a liberal arts degree in a post post-modern society.
...or simply to feed a hungry scholar (or two).
The Food For Thought Program, formerly known as Take a Professor to Lunch, offers students the option to invite a professor as
a guest to eat breakfast, lunch, or dinner at Cowles or Quad Dining Halls and have Grinnell College pay for the
professor's meal. Students who are dining with professors will be asked to use their
board plan. Students who do not have a board plan may still invite a professor to the dining hall.
However, this will be limited to one non-board plan student per professor. Professors
may also invite students; the same charge procedure applies.
To take advantage of this program, all you need to do is to sign in at the dining hall when going into the meal.
If you have any questions, contact the Chaplain's Office.
