November Tips and Hints
Creating Accessible Word and PDF documents
Whether the Word document is to be used just as a Word document or turned into a pdf for posting on the web, accessible pages benefit everyone. The more accessible your content is, the more user-friendly it will be to all people, whether they're reading the page on a large screen or on a cell phone, or hearing the page read aloud by a screen-reader. You don't have to be a Web developer to make a difference! Everyone can make more accessible pages. This hour and a half workshop will start with demonstrating how to make Word documents more accessible and then look at how that affects the PDFs that are created from those documents.
