Water Aerobics
Mondays and Wednesdays, 4:15pm and 5:15pm, June 11-August 1st
Bear Pool
Exercise is always more fun together. Come join your friends in their swimsuits as we jump, run and splash our way to good health. Class will consist of calisthenics, "team" relays, and deep water activities. Cardio and strength activities will be done with the added resistance of the water. This will be a fast paced high energy class. All levels of fitness are encouraged to attend. Different levels of instruction will be given so that all can participate. NOTE: You will NOT be required to go to the deep end. Class will be taught with modified instruction given to both deep and shallow areas. Chair Yoga

Do you spend too much time in your chair at work? Would you benefit from improved posture and balance, and increased flexibility? Use your chair to improve your health! This class uses a chair to modify yoga poses, making them accessible to everyone regardless of physical background. Build core, upper body, and lower body strength, improve joint flexibility, and reduce stress with breathing and relaxation techniques. This course is perfect for anyone with limited mobility, expectant mothers, those who want to move more during the day without breaking a sweat, or anyone who is looking for ways to improve their health and well-being. Comfortable (but not special) clothing is recommended. Taught by Monica St. Angelo and open to faculty/staff/partners. No reservations necessary—just drop in any week! (Next session is in JRC 209)
