Pioneer One-Card for Family and Dependents

Pioneer One-Cards for faculty and staff, spouse/partner, and/or dependent(s)* may be obtained from the Pioneer One-Card Office located on the 2nd floor of the Joe Rosenfield '25 Campus Center. This card allows access to a variety of activities and facilities on campus, including Burling Library, the Bear Recreation and Athletic Center, the Harris Center and theatrical and musical presentations.

For an appointment to have a Pioneer One-Card made, you must first contact Marcia Baker (faculty spouse/partner or dependent) at ext. 3100 or Robyn Berardo (staff spouse/partner or dependent) at ext. 4818 and provide the information below:

Once this information is entered into the system, you may visit the Pioneer One-Card Office on the second floor of the Joe Rosenfield '25 Center. Please call ahead so that the office is prepared for your visit: (641) 269-3661 or ext. 3661 (from a campus telephone). Be prepared to show proper identification (see below).

*Faculty, Staff, and their Dependents

All faculty, staff, and their dependents 16 years of age or older obtaining their initial Pioneer One-Card must provide government issued photo identification. Dependents of faculty or staff between the ages of 12-15 must either provide government issued photo identification or be accompanied by the Grinnell College faculty or staff member.

Only faculty and staff dependents age 12 and older are issued a Pioneer One-Card. Dependents under the age of 12 are not issued a Pioneer One-Card, and must be accompanied by a card-holding parent or guardian to use the Bear Center facilities.

Examples of acceptable government issued photo identification include: U.S. passport; unexpired foreign passport; state driver's license; photo ID card issued by federal, state, or local government agencies; U.S. military ID card.
