Actually, we’ll give you several, in the form of the fall 2010 issue of Grinnell magazine, arriving in your mailbox in early October:
- Holden Bale, ’12, writes “Stranger Things Have Happened” (inside front cover) than his arrival at Grinnell, but at the moment, he can’t think of any. How did you end up at Grinnell?
- Incoming President Raynard Kington invites us to contribute our passion to the college (“Kington on Grinnell — and Its Alums,” p. 6). How can you do that?
- Former president Russell K. Osgood makes some provocative suggestions about how Grinnell might continue to evolve (“President’s Report,” p. 10). What do you think?

There’s lots more in the fall issue, but you get the idea: We try to feature stories that are compelling, fun and enlightening—and that invite your comment as well.
