Melissa Strovers is Program and Communications Manager for the Office of Community Enhancement and Engagement at Grinnell College. Prior to starting her new position with Grinnell College, Strovers served as the Executive Director for Imagine Grinnell, where she served for four years. During that time, Strovers was instrumental in securing nearly $1 million in funding for the expansion and programming of the Grinnell Area Recreation Trail- as well as leading key healthy initiatives in the community that included events such as Bike to Work Week, Bike and Hike to Shop, Grinnell Bike Week and International Walk to School Day. Strovers is a graduate of Oklahoma Christian University, where she earned a B.S. in Mass Communications.
