Apprentice 2012-2013
Now in his third year at Grinnell College, Tyler Banas is proud to be a part of the OCEE staff. He enjoys the opportunity to blend his loyalties to both the campus and neighborhood communities. Having engaged during his first year with town-related programs such as the Arts Academy, Adopt-A-Grandparent at Mayflower, and writing advisor at the high school, overseeing such programs from a more professional setting strikes his fancy. Tyler's primary academic interest is in Physics, but he hopes to espouse the Liberal Arts curriculum by jointly pursing Sociology.
