Interacting with Students, Authors, and Others via Video
This event will exhibit the use of web-based video tools to bring people from all over the world into the classroom. Web-based video technologies can be used to give on-campus students and faculty the opportunity to interact "face-to-face" with students studying abroad, authors of course materials, and other off-campus experts. Bringing a guest into a class in this way can extend the notion of working with primary sources and enhance the accessibility of the subject matter.
Come to this event to hear from faculty who have used these tools and to try them out yourself.
