Past Lunches Fall 2005 thru Fall 2006
Environmental issues cross all disciplines. The Advisory Board conceives of "Environmental Challenges and Responses" in broad terms that can support proposals from every division and can cross divisional lines. In addition to the topics listed above, we hope to identify other related topics at this lunch.
The Instructional Support Committee has generously agreed to fund yet another round of Common Ground Lunches.
These lunches can be used to initiate discussion of an area of common teaching interest or of methods of teaching (including team teaching). As with the first set of lunches, we will circulate information about the lunches by the two dates mentioned below, keep a list of interested participants, arrange a location, and order lunch. In return, we ask the following of you:
1. A title, a brief description, and a date (any time between now and spring break). Send these to Jean Cousins at cousins@grinnell.edu .
2. A brief report outlining the key issues that arose from the lunch (we'll also try to send along someone from the Interim Board to take notes and answer questions, but we really want to hear from you).
Please note that we will not advertise individual lunches.
