Directions in Interdisciplinary Teaching at Grinnell College: A report from the Interdisciplinary Fellows

Thinking about team teaching a course? Interested in a shared-theme Tutorial? Curious about ways in which your course might be one of a cluster of courses addressing an issue?

Please join Interdisciplinary Fellows Jin Feng, Bob Grey, and Clark Lindgren in a discussion of the interdisciplinary courses that they have been teaching this academic year. Their courses embody a number of different pedagogical approaches to interdisciplinary teaching, including a team-taught course ("Freedom and Authority: Control of Reproduction") involving three divisions, a shared-theme cluster of three Tutorials, and individually-taught courses ("Food, Culture, Power," "Neuroscience: Foundations, Future and Fallacies," and "The Rise of Religion in World Politics").
