DEVELOPING A PEACE STUDIES CONCENTRATION
Following up on the kinds of linkages discussed during the Peace, Sustainability and Social Justice EKI lunches held in 2005-06, a summer 2006 faculty seminar began work on a proposal for a broadly Interdisciplinary Peace Studies Concentration. Joining us to enrich our discussion on Friday, February 9, 2007, will be Jayne Docherty, Associate Professor of Conflict Studies in the Conflict Transformation Program at Eastern Mennonite University. We hope that a wide range of disciplines will be represented in this lunch and conversation with Prof. Docherty.
