Teaching from the Source: Using Digital Methods to Interrogate Primary Sources

This is the second meeting for this group; the first meeting was Wednesday, November 8, 2006

This discussion will be more focused on articulating priorities for acquiring or digitizing new content, which is important. The facilitators are interested in exploring premise that digital presentation is not just more convenient but might also be epistemically and pedagogically transformative to some degree - that it can change the nature of the inquiry, the kinds of questions asked, and the kinds of evidence looked for - and whether this is relevant to Grinnell's vision of interdisciplinarity, expanding knowledge, and undergraduate learning.
