The EKI in its Fourth Year

The Interdisciplinary Studies Advisory Board invites you to discuss the directions that Grinnell should take with the EKI in what we should begin thinking of as the second half of the EKI implementation period. In advance of the lunch we will solicit from you questions and key issues to help guide the discussion. Some questions will include:

  • Are there curricular areas that we need to address as part of enriching our curriculum?
  • What do we expect to see in terms of expanding the number of collaboratively-taught and interdisciplinary courses (do we ant to see lots of courses of any sort, or do we hope to see some depth in a few areas?
  • What new issues are arising as a consequence of implementing the EKI?
  • Are there ways in which we should be thinking about the EKI completely differently?
