Small departments face distinctive issues for implementing the Expanding Knowledge Initiative, whether it is in freeing up colleagues to teach collaborative or otherwise interdisciplinary courses or in developing position proposals. The members of the Interdisciplinary Studies Advisory Board invites you to help them identify some of these issues and to consider ways in which they can be addressed. While all faculty members are invited, we extend a special invitation to those departments with five or fewer members.
