last year's (Fall 2005 - Spring 2006) lunch series
These lunches can be used to initiate discussion of an area of common teaching interest or of methods of teaching (including team teaching). We will circulate a list of lunches via e-mail by September 20 and then re-circulate it by October 25. As with the first set of lunches, we will circulate information about the lunches by the two dates mentioned below, keep a list of interested participants, arrange a location, and order lunch.
In return, we ask the following of lunch organizers:
1. A title, a brief description, and a date (any time between now and spring break). Send these to Jean Cousins at cousins@grinnell.edu
2. A brief report outlining the key issues that arose from the lunch (we'll also try to send along someone from the Interim Board to take notes and answer questions, but we really want to hear from you). Please be advised that we intend to publish these on the Office of Interdisciplinary Studies web site.
We also ask that those who sign up for lunches attend them, so that food doesn't go to waste.
