Teaching from the Source: Using Digital Methods to Interrogate Primary Sources

The aim of this lunch is to explore archival, library, and museum traditions for creating access to (hence interpreting) original materials; teaching from primary sources; and digital methods for managing primary sources. Working with Burling Library, Faulconer Gallery and CTS staff, the lunch will examine the potential of integrating museum, archival, and library collections virtually, and attempt to gauge the relative importance of developing digital tools to support teaching, research, and collection management at Grinnell.
