Here is information about available positions with Dining Services for Alumni Reunion 2009.
Service Staff (30):
Serve food and beverage to our guests, set and clear tables as needed, help with clean up during and at the end of the shift. We will train you. You must be able to work May 26-31, 2009. Service Staff are given free housing, free meals during working shifts, and are paid $8.25/hour.
Back of the House Staff (6):
These are staff members who prefer work in the Heart of the House, Dish Room or Custodial areas. All Back of the House Staff help with clean up during and at the end of the shift, and/or food preparation and cleanup. We will train you. You must be able to work May 26-31, 2009. Back of the House Staff are given free housing, free meals during working shifts, and are paid $8.25/hour.
Student Leader Position (10):
An interview and a valid driver's license will be required for this position. These staff members will be responsible for gathering, transporting, and setting up dining venues for catered meals. During service of guests, you will help train other staff members in service, and assure that all guests have been properly served. You will help in the supervision of the clean up after the meal has been served and the guests have left the premises.
You must be able to work May 19-31, 2009. You will be trained in leadership, table setting, service, and clean up prior to Alumni Reunion. Practical experience will be gained by working Faculty Potluck, Staff Recognition Brunch and a Wedding on May 23, 2009. Student leaders are given free housing, free meals during working shifts, and are paid a premium wage of $8.85/hour.
