What should I do if my parents or I file our federal tax returns with the IRS after the MARCH 1 deadline?

A prepared tax return may be submitted to our office prior to it being mailed to the IRS. DO NOT SUBMIT A PRELIMINARY OR ESTIMATED TAX RETURN. Priority will be given to those students who have submitted all of the required documents (including tax returns) by March 1. Students who submit documents after March 1 may have their grant assistance reduced.

If your parents will not have their tax return prepared by the filing deadline, enclose an explanation as to why a tax return cannot be provided with your Institutional Verification Form (IVF). You will not receive notification of your financial aid award until we receive their completed tax return.
