Health Professions Scholarship Program (HPSP)
The U.S. Army sponsors a Health Professions Scholarship Program that provides participants with full tuition, reimbursement for books and academic fees, and a monthly stipend of $1,992. Qualified applicants may also receive a $20,000 bonus.

Union Plus Scholarship

The scholarship program is open to students attending or planning to attend a college or university, a community college, or a technical college or trade school.
Applicants for scholarships are evaluated according to academic ability, social awareness, financial need and appreciation of labor.
Scholarship applications are judged by a committee of impartial post secondary educators. Applications are first reviewed by a panel of independent career professionals. Semi-finalists are chosen based on a point scale, and their applications are then provided to judges for further review and selection of finalists and awards.

Force and Motion Academic Scholarship

The Force and Motion Academic Scholarship, made possible by funds from AMTI, is awarded annually to assist promising graduate students in fields related to multi-axis force measurement and testing. This year, the Foundation will award two $10,000 scholarships to two promising graduate students.

Hy-Vee Foundation Scholarship Program
Submission Deadline: February 10, 2012
- You were employed at a Hy-Vee or subsidiary location (office, distribution, retail) after June 1 of the year preceding the award of the scholarship (for example, employment as of June 1, 2009, for scholarships awarded in the year 2010.) You do not need to be currently working.
- You are classified as a full-time freshman, sophomore or junior during the time of the application process. You must be classified as a full-time sophomore, junior or senior at the time funds are disbursed.

Jewish Federation Academic Scholarship

Educational scholarship funds from grants administered by the Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Chicago are available for Jewish college and graduate students. More than $500,000 each year is available for full-time students, predominantly those legally domiciled in the metropolitan Chicago area, who are identified as having promise for significant contributions in their chosen careers. Carver Scholars Program

Since the Carver Scholars program’s inception in 1988, the Trust has distributed over $16.8 million in awards to more than 2,240 Iowa residents for their junior year, and if renewed, during their senior year of study. The program centers on providing substantial scholarships to students who struggle to overcome significant social and economic obstacles in the pursuit of their education or who may be living in circumstances that may not normally be taken into account by other financial aid programs.

WyzAnt College Scholarship

WyzAnt Tutoring is a nationwide tutoring service. Their scholarship contest features $10,000 in total awards and is open to college freshmen, sophomores and juniors. The Hawkinson Foundation Scholarship

Hawkinson Scholarships are awarded annually to undergraduate or graduate students who are a resident of or currently attending school in Iowa, Minnesota, South Dakota, North Dakota or Wisconsin. To qualify, applicants must have demonstrated a commitment to peace and justice through at least one of the following:
- Completed a specific peace and justice project;
- Were courageous in pursuing their convictions about peace and justice;
- Displayed ongoing commitment to, and leadership in, a peace organization;
- Served as a role model for others in moving church or society into new realms of thought and practice regarding peace and justice.
In addition, applicants must demonstrate how the use of the award money for study, an internship, or a special project will deepen their personal commitment to peace and justice and will promote peace and justice for others. A personal interview is required. Scholarships are awarded without regard to religious affiliation.
