Student jobs on campus are funded by Grinnell or the federal government. Grinnell offers jobs first to students with demonstrated financial need. Students who work seven or eight hours a week can expect to earn about $2,000 during the academic year. The Offices of Student Financial Aid and Career Development direct the student employment function for eligible students seeking part-time work on campus. The Experience eRecruiting Network, an online system to aid in job placement, is an effective, efficient way for students to search for jobs. For more information including dates and times of online employment workshops, visit the eRecruiting web site at http://grinnell.erecruiting.com. New students receiving need-based Federal Work-study will be assigned their first job. Questions regarding work eligibility should be directed to the Financial Aid Office.
