The Director serves on several campus committees, including the Benefits Committee and the Diversity Steering Committee.  The Director assists the Offices of the President, the Dean and the Associate Deans with processes and issues as described under the Generalist description below. Generalists assist department directors with recruitment and retention of employees, reward and recognition efforts, performance coaching and counseling, and writing job descriptions.  Additionally, Generalists are a point of contact for specific employees.  Our goal is that by being fully involved with specific departments, Generalists will develop an understanding of departmental issues and needs.
