Philosophy
The Office of Intercultural Engagement and Leadership is designed to provide the resources necessary to express and explore a student's cultural identity as well as provide an academic, social, and cultural support structure. Intercultural Affairs seeks to provide a national forum where important issues of diversity and cultural values can be broadly addressed on campus and within the global community. OIA collaborates with students, faculty, staff and external constituents to enhance the core values of intellectual excellence, social responsibility and a diverse community. Grinnell College celebrates and honors the individual identities of our thriving and actively conscientious college environment.
