Intercultural Engagement & Leadership promotes diversity discussions, educational growth and cultural awareness in and beyond the campus community. The Intercultural Resource Center (IRC) was recently established in March 2010 to enrich campus diversity, equity and inclusive excellence on the Grinnell College campus. Grinnell students receive substantial mentorship experiences from faculty, students and staff from pre-orientation programs through post graduate studies.
Intercultural Engagement & Leadership provides the broad framework to enrich personal growth, social activism and scholarship. The global college community is dedicated to educationing men and women for the common good through a plethora of Study Abroad, Career Development internships and Leadership Training Workshops.
The college is deeply committed to providing an excellent liberal arts education, social justice and successful learning outcomes to domestic and international students from all over the world. Students, faculty and staff each work very hard to make the world a better place. Diversity & Inclusion integrates the overarching campus mission with the strategic plan by enhancing campus climate through diversity education and cultural compentency models.
