Information Technology Services Announcement – Telephone System Upgrade
Affected Systems: Campus Telephone System
Affected Users: All campus telephone users
On Monday, March 26, 2012, ITS telecommunications staff will be working with technicians from Windstream Baker Communications to install upgraded hardware and software on the college’s telephone system. The upgrade will begin about 5:00 PM that day and will continue until completed. I expect all campus telephones to be out of service for about one hour beginning at 5:30 PM that day.
Watch for additional information about this upgrade as the implementation date approaches.
Information Technology Services Announcement -- CallPilot Voice Mail Upgrade
Affected Systems: CallPilot Voice Mail System
Affected Users: Users of CallPilot voice mail
On Thursday, March 22, 2012, ITS telecommunications staff will be working with technicians from Windstream Baker Communications to install an upgrade to the CallPilot voice mail system. The upgrade will begin about 5:00 PM that day and will continue until completed. CallPilot will be unavailable during the upgrade. The upgrade is expected to take up to five hours.
