Accessing Personal Network Storage using FTP

Access to your personal network storage on STORAGE server is available by using an FTP client and the secure ftp protocol. Make an ftp connection to ftpserver.grinnell.edu and follow the appropriate directory path to your personal directory.

Not all FTP clients support secure FTP so a change in the client you use may be necessary. A partial list of ftp clients known to support secure FTP are at http://tcdb.grinnell.edu/oldwiki/pmwiki.php?n=Help.SecureFTPClients.

Please use the settings described here http://tcdb.grinnell.edu/oldwiki/pmwiki.php?n=Help.ConnectingToTheStorageServerOffCampus to configure your ftp client.

Please contact the Helpdesk at x4400 for additional support.
