Council on International Educational Exchange (CIEE) Development Studies Program in Ghana focuses on the development challenges facing Ghana today.

 

 

 

  • Location: Legon, Ghana
  • Language of instruction: English
  • Courses:  Sociological Foundations of Development Studies Seminar, Twi language, University of Ghana elective courses, and internship
  • Subjects and themes: Anthropology, Economics, Global Development Studies, History, Sociology
  •  Field trips:  May include: Kumasi, Dodi Island, Elmina, Cape Coast, Wli Falls, Togo
  • Housing: Home-stays or dormitories.
  • Prerequisites: All Majors. GPA minimum-2.75. Coursework on Africa or development recommended.
  • Calendar: Fall or spring semester.
