Tanzania: Human Evolution and Ecology focuses on the natural and social sciences, offering  rare opportunities for field work in some of the world's greatest paleo-archeological and environmental areas.

  

  • Location: Dar-es-Salaam Tanangire and Serengeti National Parks, Ngorongoro Conservation Area, Laetoli, Olduvai Gorge
  • Language of instruction: English
  • Courses: Human evolution, Ecology, Research Methods, Field Practicum, Kiswahili
  • Academic themes: Anthropology, Archeology, Biology and Environmental studies, Sociology 
  • Housing: Dormitories, tent camps, home-stay
  • Prerequisites: None.  All majors. Relevant coursework in anthropology, biology, and/or environmental studies strongly recommended.
