Institute for the International Education of Students in Delhi, India focuses on contemporary India in its cultural and historical context and offering an extremely wide  range of possible coursework, including university courses with Indian students.

  • Academics:  Required: Cities of Delhi and  Hindi .  IES Center electives include courses in Anthropology, Economics, English Literature, Religious Studies, Sociology, and Film Studies.   Courses may also be taken at Delhi University, and Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU). 
  • Field trips: Agra and Taj Mahal, Delhi region, South India.
  • Housing: Homestay or rooming house
  • Prerequisites: Minimum 3.0 GPA. Coursework on India or development recommended.
