Intercollegiate Sri Lanka Education (ISLE) is located on the South Asian island nation of Sri  Lanka and is affiliated with the University of Peradeniya

 

  • Location: Kandy, Sri Lanka
  • Language of instruction: English
  • Academics:  Required: Sinhala language, Archaeology, and Independent Field Study.  Students choose two electives from a wide range of electives, including courses in the fine arts, cultural anthropology, geography, religious studies, history, political science, women’s studies .
  • Field trips: Two tours of the island, one involving field study of archaeological and religious sites and the other to wildlife sanctuaries and tea plantations
  • Housing: Homestays
  • Prerequisites: Minimum 3.0 GPA.  Coursework on South Asian religions highly recommended.
  • Calendar: Fall or spring semester
