Danish Institute for Study Abroad (DIS) in Denmark is a large program offering an extensive selection of subject tracks in a broad range of subject areas, integrating extensive course-embedded travel.

 

  • Location:  Copenhagen, Denmark
  • Language of instruction: English
  • Academics: Curriculum is subdivided into distinct programs, each with a specific academic focus.  Students choose one program and enroll in its associated core course, Danish, and three electives.   
  • Field trips:  Each core course has two associated study tours, usually to different parts of Denmark and Europe. Optional study tours are organized to a wide variety of locations during semester breaks. 
  • Housing: homestays, dormitories, apartments 
  • Prerequisites: None. European History and/or Politics are recommended 
  • Calendar: Fall or Spring.
