In the spirit of the College’s core value of social responsibility, Inauguration Day will also inaugurate Grinnell’s Day of Service. On the morning of May 7, Grinnellians everywhere are invited to begin a day of service in their home communities.
In the town of Grinnell, alumni, delegates, faculty, staff, students, and local community members will gather to share in community service activities. Activities will benefit local organizations like Imagine Grinnell, Drake Community Library, Grinnell Regional Medical Center, the Chamber of Commerce, Grinnell Arts Academy, Mid-Iowa Community Action, Poweshiek Animal League Shelter and more. RSVPs requested.
Participants will receive their assignments at the kick-off in the JRC Courtyard.
